Sodium Ethyl Xanthate (potassium)

Nature: Yellow and pale yellow powders (or granulated rods), soluble in water, easy deliquesce, and irritating smell.

Application: Sodium ethyl xanthate is the most selective collector in the xanthane series products. It can be widely used in the preferred floatation of easily floating or complex non-ferrous metal sulfide ores. It can also be used with sulfide reagent for flotation of copper and lead oxidized ores. It can also be used as a hydrometallurgical precipitator (for example: purification of zinc electrolyte) and a rubber vulcanizing accelerator.
